About

Before she started writing, Abigail was an early childhood educator and a compliance specialist. Her inspiration for the Baby Hippomus series came from her mother, who told stories to her and her siblings as children. Said Abigail, “Simple and sweet, the stories warmed our hearts and reminded us that we were dearly loved. That is the goal of my writing, to share love and warmth and truth to parents and their children.” 

Why do i write? Because the jumbled thoughts in my head go down through my fingers, through the pen on to the paper and there I see my thoughts and feelings not in a jumble but in a beautiful melody of words, expressing my heart, sharing what I cannot often say out loud.   Like Baby Hippomus, we are creatures created by a God who rules over all things. That puts me in my proper place and puts Him in His. For through Him (Jesus Christ) God created all things in heaven and on earth. All things are under His authority and loving care. Papa Hippomus understood it, Baby Hippomus got it. My hope is that this story will help adults and children delight in whose they are, to draw closer to Him and trust Him with the details of their lives. He is after all, God Over All.
